When it comes state of the art construction, the new TaylorMade Spider GT Putter sets a new standard.  The putter is crafted from lightweight 6061 aluminium, and features a 145g top plate that eliminates excess weight in the middle of the putter, allowing TaylorMade to affix heavy steel side weights.  As a result, only 18% of the weight is centred in the middle of the head, endowing the Spider GT with extreme perimeter weighting.  This revolutionary design yields astounding performance benefits in terms of MOI, forgiveness, distance control, and stability. TaylorMade equips the Spider GT with their new, firmer Pure Roll 2 Insert.  Fashioned at a 45° angle, the insert’s aluminium beams improve topspin across the face, leading to putts with forward roll that resist falling off line. With 21 degrees of toe hang, the small slant variant of the Spider GT suits golfers with a slight-to-moderate amount of arc in their putting stroke.
