The SIM 2 MAX D Fairway Woods incorporate the V Steel Sole for improved turf interaction and versatility with enhanced forgiveness from redistributed mass. A larger, multi-material 190cc head design is constructed with precision weighting and CG placement for explosive distance, enhanced forgiveness, and high launch. High-strength C300 steel is used in the face for incredibly fast ball speeds, paired with Twist Face technology that helps overcome inherent tendencies on miss-hits. The Thru-Slot Speed Pocket increases face flexibility, preservation of ball speed and distance. A strategically placed heel weight works in conjunction with the V Steel sole to encourage a right-to-left ball flight without sacrificing forgiveness. The design helps golfers mitigate misses to the right while still ensuring a high and effortless launch off the tee or in the fairway.
